The increase of Coronavirus cases over the past week is looking consistent with the week before. Georgia is reporting more than 312-thousand cumulative cases of COVID-19 infections today, up about 5,000 since last week, with the death toll at 6,874. Over 28-thousand people have been hospitalized, with ICU admissions over 5,000. About 81% of all ICU beds in Georgia are occupied and 30.1% of adult ventilators are currently in use.
Athens-Clarke County has 4,997 cases of coronavirus infections and 43 deaths. Barrow County is reporting 2,158 cases and 46 deaths, Jackson has 1,961 cases with 31 deaths, Madison County comes in with 687 cases and 8 deaths, Oconee County has 736 and 26 deaths, and Oglethorpe County has 329 cases with 11 deaths.
