In a press release sent out this morning, UGA outlined its plans for the make-up commencement ceremony set for this week.
This Friday, the University of Georgia will hold its make up commencement for Spring 2020 and Summer 2020 graduates.
The ceremony will be held at Sanford Stadium at 6:30 pm, and CDC guidelines for social distancing will be followed. That means face coverings will be required for all guests before entrance into the stadium.
Gates will open at 4:30 pm on Friday, and guests should enter using Gates 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, and 10. All guests will be required to have a ticket to enter the stadium.
Additionally, the University asks that if students decide to take pictures at the arch following the ceremony, they remain socially distanced while doing so.
For anyone unable to attend, the University will live-stream the ceremony at commencement.uga.edu.
The ceremony is also set to end with the usual fireworks send-off.
