ACC Government Seeking Candidates for Policy-Making Boards

The Athens-Clarke County government is looking for qualified candidates to serve on five policy-making boards. 

 

They include two two-year positions on the Athens Downtown Development Authority, one spot on the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities Region 2 Advisory Council, for a three-year term; one full-term on the Division of Family and Children Services Board for five years, and three partial terms; One partial term on the Joint Development Authority of the ACC government and City of Winterville and three positions on the Vision Committee, for three years each. 

 

Applicants must be Athens-Clarke County residents. The deadline for receiving applications is Friday, October 16.  

 

The Mayor and Commission are tentatively scheduled to remotely interview applicants the afternoon/night of Tuesday, October 27.
