Georgia is currently reporting more than 347-thousand cumulative cases of COVID-19 infections, about 6,000 cases higher than Monday the 19th, with the death toll at 7,766. Just under 31,000 people have been hospitalized, with ICU admissions over 5,800.
Athens-Clarke County has 5,656 cases of coronavirus infections and 47 deaths. Barrow County is reporting 2,548 cases and 50 deaths, Jackson has 2,323 cases with 40 deaths, Madison County comes in with 771 cases and 11 deaths, Oconee County has 851 and 29 deaths and Oglethorpe County has 404 cases with 11 deaths.
Today was the highest single day of cases since September, with the 7-day average of new daily cases on the rise.
