In the State House District 117 race Republican candidate Houston Gaines leads his Democratic challenger, Jonathan Wallace, with about 72% of the votes.
Meanwhile in the State House District 119 race Republican candidate Marcus Weidower is also leading with 72% of the votes.
These numbers do not include any of the votes from traditionally Democratic Athens-Clarke County.
