Early Voting Begins for District Attorney Runoff Election

Early voting has begun for the December 1st runoff election between Democrat Deborah Gonzalez and unaffiliated candidate James Chaffin. The winner will be District Attorney for Georgia's Western Judicial District, which includes Clarke and Oconee County.

In Clarke County voters can cast ballots today at the Board of Elections Offices until 5 pm, tomorrow from 8 am until 7 pm, and Wednesday from 8 am until 5 pm.

Other locations in Clarke County will be open tomorrow from 10 am until 7 pm, and Wednesday from 10 am until 5 pm. Those locations include the Athens Regional Library, the Miriam Moore Community Center, the ACC Extension Office, and the ACC Tennis Center.

In Oconee County voters can go to the Oconee County Civic Center today, tomorrow, and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
