Authorities in Georgia say two people have died and a third person has been critically injured in a structure fire. A Barrow County Emergency Services spokesman says crews responded to a call in Auburn before 11 a.m. Friday and found a structure engulfed in flames with people trapped inside.
Capt. Scott Dakin says responders pulled three people from the blaze. He says two of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene and the third was taken to a hospital with severe injuries. Authorities didn't immediately release the names or ages of the victims or give a potential cause of the fire. The investigation is ongoing.
