The University of Georgia reached its goal of $4.5 million for the creation of the John H. Isakson Chair for Parkinson's Research and Georgia Research Alliance Eminent Scholar position. The former U.S Senator himself made the final contribution.
The Isakson Chair and GRA Eminent Scholar will direct the forthcoming Center for Brain Science and Neurological Disorders and engage in public service, teaching, and research.
