President Joe Biden released proposals for his American Jobs Plan last month, which would include large infrastructure projects that would repair roads and bridges, expand public transportation, and modernize schools and early learning facilities, among other projects.
The White House also released a memo that includes more specific evaluations of areas for improvement by state.
The memo cites that in Georgia, there are 374 bridges and 2,260 miles of highway in poor condition that will be included in a plan to invest $600 billion in transportation infrastructure nationwide.
