Athens GBI Assisting Barrow County in Road Rage Shooting

The Barrow County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance from the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Athens Regional Office in a murder case. A release from the GBI states Barrow deputies responded to a possible road rage incident that left one man dead and another wounded. 

Authorities say 20-year-old Ketravian Cole was pronounced dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds. A second man was taken to an area hospital for treatment. According to preliminary information, a dark colored sedan, the make and model is not known, pulled up beside the victims' vehicle and opened fire.  There were no descriptions of suspects.
