After a long year, AthFest is Back

AthFest is back this year.
Porter McLeod

For many, the pandemic will be remembered not only by what we did, but what we didn’t do – things like going out to hear live music with a few thousand of your closest friends on a sweltering summer night during AthFest.

The festival, a must-see for many townies and visitors alike, didn’t happen last year. But, this fall, the music will be back. ANM's Alexia Ridley talked to Jill Helme from AthFest Educates about what to expect.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
