The Athens Clarke County Operations Committee discussed the recommendations of the Community Police Advisory Board Development Task Force for the creation of a police advisory board.
The Government Operations Committee, chaired by District 10's Mike Hamby, discussed the ideal composition of the police advisory board as well as the training and knowledge needed for board members. The committee also brainstormed how the board can access information housed in the police department without tainting confidential documents.
