The UGA Women’s Softball team will take on number 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners in the College Softball World Series on Saturday. Because of the tournament’s double elimination format, this will be a win or go home game for both teams.
Yesterday, both universities lost their opening games, with Oklahoma getting upset by unranked James Madison, and UGA falling to Oklahoma State.
First pitch between the Sooners and the Dawgs will be tomorrow at noon on ESPN. This will be UGA's fifth appearance in the College Softball World Series, and all of their remaining games will be played in Oklahoma City.
