University of Georgia President Jere Morehead will start a two-year term as president of the Southeastern Conference on July 1.
Morehead is currently the conference’s vice president. As president, Morehead will chair the committee that oversees the conference's budget and finances. Morehead also serves on the NCAA Division I Board of Governors and Board of Directors.
