The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is asking anyone who may have information about a deadly car crash at the intersection of Vincent Drive and Acadia Drive Sunday to contact the department.
According to a media release, shortly after 4:20 Sunday morning, 27-year old Juan Trigueros-Garcia pulled onto Vincent Drive from Acadia Drive and collided with a second vehicle. He died as a result of injuries suffered in that collision.
A passenger in his vehicle also sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken by EMS to a local hospital. The driver and passenger in the second vehicle were taken to a local hospital and they are expected to survive.
