UGA Commencement This Week

  The University of Georgia will officially welcome its newest group of alumni this week. 

More than 3,000 University of Georgia students are eligible to walk in the university’s commencement ceremonies Friday. Jack Bauerle, Swimming and Diving Head Coach at UGA, will deliver undergrad address, while Michelle Garfield Cook, vice provost for diversity and inclusion, will give the graduate ceremony address. Both ceremonies will be held in Sanford Stadium.  

 Fall commencement is scheduled for December 17. Both ceremonies will be held in Sanford Stadium. No tickets are required. Face masks are encouraged, and the clear bag policy will be in effect.  

The undergraduate ceremony is scheduled for 10 am and the graduate ceremony is scheduled for 2:30 pm.
