Governor Brian Kemp and state Attorney General Chris Carr have filed a lawsuit to challenge the Biden administration’s Head Start vaccine and mask mandate.
Last month, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services issued a mandate that the staff of Head Start programs— which provide free early learning services to children from ages birth to 5 from low-income families — be fully vaccinated by the end of this coming January, and that masks must be worn by children age two and older in the programs.
This is the fourth lawsuit Kemp and Carr have filed to challenge the Biden administration’s vaccine mandates.
