screen_shot_2021-08-20_at_3.09.27_pm_1.png

Our panel, Gwen O'Looney and Chris Dowd, sits down with WUGA's Alexia Ridley to discuss former Senator David Purdue’s announcement that he will run for governor of Georgia, and how this might affect the race.

They’ll also talk about the December 7th Commission meeting, where rent relief, the permanent homeless camp, and more were debated.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
