medicalpartnership.usg.edu

In collaboration with Medical Partnership of Georgia, Nuci’s Space will host eight free health clinics over the coming months.

A team of second-year medical students will be supervised by a doctor who is available to write prescriptions and make referrals. Referrals will be to specialists who will treat participants on a cost-reduced basis, either sliding scale or a waived fee.

The clinic will also be able to test for diabetes, hypertension and HIV.

The clinics will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays Jan. 24, Feb. 14 and 21, March 21 and 28, and April 4 and 18.

The clinics are free for anyone who is uninsured or on a low income. Appointments can be made at 706-227-1515.
