After 2-year Hiatus, AthFest Back in 2022

After a pandemic-induced two-year break, AthFest is heading back to downtown Athens. The 24th AthFest Music and Arts Festival is scheduled for June 24th through 26th this year. The event features live music on three outdoor stages, a juried Artist Market and KidFest.

Jill Helme, Executive Director of parent organization AthFest Educates, has more about this year’s event.

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
