Mokah-Jasmine Johnson to Face off Against Houston Gaines Again

Mokah Johnson

Mokah-Jasmine Johnson is taking another shot at public office. The co-founder and President of the Athens Anti-Discrimination Movement is once again taking on incumbent Houston Gaines in Georgia’s State House District 120. In a press release Johnson said “We might have a brand new district number and new district lines-but the issues are still the same.”

Johnson squared off against Gaines in 2020, when the district was numbered 117. Gaines defeated Johnson 57% to 43% in that race. Johnson says she will roll out the details of her platform in the coming weeks and months.
