Kemp signs school mask law

Georgia students will now be able to opt out of mask mandates at state schools. Governor Brian Kemp signed the ‘Unmask Georgia Students” Act into law Tuesday afternoon.
The measure does not prohibit schools from requesting masks be worn on school property, but the governor said Senate Bill 514 will give parents the final authority.
