Athens-Clarke County Police have arrested a 21 year old man in connection with a February 28 shooting in North Athens. Authorities say that Tavarez Carswell of Athens was the shooter in an incident that sent an 18 year old to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Carswell was taken into custody on Wednesday. He is charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, and Reckless Conduct.
