Athens-Clarke County Police are investigating two shootings. According to a release from the department, at around 9:15 Tuesday night, officers responded to gun shots in the in the 200 block of Carriage Court. They found a 26-year old male that had been shot. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Shortly after that shooting, a 19-year old male arrived at a hospital with a gunshot wound. His injuries were also non-life threatening. Police say it is not clear at this time if the incidents are related.
