New COVID numbers from Clarke County were released last night. Clarke County has seen a continued uptick in COVID-19 positivity this week. The county reports just over 75 cases per 100,000 residents. Last week that number was about 47 cases per 100,000.
For reference, the Clarke County mask mandate would be reinstated if that number reached 100 cases per 100,000 residents.
Clarke County also reports 5 new hospitalizations as a result of COVID-19, and one additional death.
Finally the vaccination rate in Clarke County remained at 49% this week
