Athens Tech is one of the institutions in the Technical College System of Georgia receiving a portion of a one-million-dollar donation from the Coca-Cola Company. The funds are to augment the system’s Commercial Truck Driving Program. The funds will create 11 new full-time instructor positions and two part-time roles around the state.
Coca-Cola will have a truck on the Athens Tech campus Wednesday from 11 am until 1 pm and Coca-Cola United representatives will provide information about job opportunities at the company. The event is open to the public.
