The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating after a Tuesday night shooting. According to a department release, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 100 block of Hawthorne Avenue around 11:30 Tuesday night. They found a 29-year old male who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
