Athens Clarke County Police have arrested the suspect of an armed robbery that occurred around 12:30am Tuesday morning on West Broad Street.
The victim, a 25-year-old male, was approached by the suspect, who stole an item from him at gunpoint. Authorities arrested and charged Melvin Roberts, 30, with armed robbery.
