College Station Road remains mostly inaccessible to westbound traffic while road repair assessments continue. Westbound access to College Station at the North Oconee Access Road has been closed since late last month after a water main burst under the roadway.
The road will remain closed while ACC's Transportation and Public Works Department continue to identify the extent of the damage.
A report of their findings is expected Wednesday. Meanwhile, westbound lanes are inaccessible past Research Drive to North Oconee Access Road. Riverbend Road and Loop 10 are also inaccessible to westbound traffic. Alternate routes for these areas would be through the Barnett Shoals Road or Milledge Avenue corridors.
The department aims to reopen access by August 12th.
