The Morton Theatre is hosting the Arts Summit 2022 this week. Organizers say the purpose of the summit is to advocate, educate and elevate local artists and creatives. The first such event was held in 2020 just before the pandemic. Keynote speaker Charmaine Minniefield kicks the summit off at the Morton Theatre, Friday, August 5th at 6:30 pm.
The summit continues Saturday, August 6th with a day of panels, lectures and sessions aimed at educating and encouraging professional advancement in creative fields.
Doors open for Friday’s presentation at 6:00 pm, and Saturday’s events begin at 10 am. Both days of the summit are free, but registration is required, visit the Lyndon House website at www.accgov.com/lyndonhouse, for more information or to register.
