Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is set to give a speech at 6:30 in Atlanta tonight outlining her plan of action for the economy in Georgia if she is elected this November.

Throughout her campaign, she has called for the state to use its budget surplus to focus on its residents by investing in infrastructure, small businesses, and raises for teachers, all while accusing incumbent Governor Brian Kemp of damaging the economy by focusing on low taxes and spending.

Kemp will announce his plans for the roughly $5 billion surplus on Thursday which is expected to include more rebates on state income tax and property tax breaks for homeowners.
