The Georgia Legal Services program, GLSP, has been awarded a nearly $305,000 Pro Bono Innovation Fund grant from the Legal Services Corporation, aiming to provide legal services to low-income Georgians.
In total, LSC is distributing $4.75 million to a total of 15 legal aid organizations across the country.
Each organization that receives a grant is working on individual solutions to challenges in pro bono legal systems, in hope that legal service providers can replicate each other's projects.
Senator Raphael Warnock and the state congressional delegation have expressed congratulations towards GLSP for receiving the grant.
