According to information from the ACC government, the County Attorney’s Office is working with the BOE in reviewing state law and election procedures to determine who is eligible voters in the current District 2 boundaries or those living in the recently drawn District 2 created after redistricting which goes into effect in January.

Parker announced their resignation Monday, it is effective, Wednesday, August 31st.

A Special Election to fill that seat will be held on November 8th, at the same time of the General Election.

More information will be released once a final decision has been reached.
