The fourth annual Historic Athens Porchfest concert series is scheduled to get underway on Sunday, October 2nd this year. Executive Director Tommy Valentine says attendees can attend performances at more than 100 porches around the city. The concerts are scheduled from 1 to 8 pm.
The neighborhoods include Boulevard, Buena Vista Heights, Cobbham, Newtown, Normaltown and Pulaski Heights.
Valentine has advice for Athenians and others wanting to attend the outdoor event.
