A University of Georgia based program is extending its outreach into the community. The Campus Kitchen trailer takes food and information to Athens-Clarke County residents at various events including a neighborhood resources fair, and a recent Back-to school event at Fowler Elementary School. Patrick Howard, a board member and Neighborhood Leader with Family Connection-Communities in Schools of Athens who partners with Campus Kitchen.
Howard says the collaboration between the organizations results in more options for residents.
