Athens News Matters: Panel for October 3, 2022

Most of Tuesday night’s ACC Mayor and Commission meeting was business as usual. Toward the end of the night, however, tensions rose and tempers flared over the issue of the March special election to fill the seat left vacant after Commissioner Mariah Parker’s resigned in September. Chris Dowd and Gwen O'Looney discuss that, plus a lawsuit filed against the county's board of elections, and w stern rebuke from Commissioner Ovita Thornton to some of her colleagues.
