The 2022 President’s Annual Report for the University of Georgia was released recently, showcasing the university’s accomplishments throughout the past year.
According to the report, UGA set several records. The incoming freshman class last fall was chosen from the largest applicant pool in UGA’s history, and over 40,000 students enrolled in Fall 2021. UGA’s six-year completion rate increased to 88%, with 92% of the new alumni were employed or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation. Additionally, the university’s work in teaching, research and outreach contributed to a record-breaking $7.4 billion impact on the state of Georgia in the fiscal year of 2021.
UGA is also ranked sixteenth in the U.S. News & World Report’s list of best public colleges.
