UGA Women's Basketball notches big win over Kennesaw State

UGA women’s basketball moves to 4 – 0 for the season after easily taking care of Kennesaw State on Wednesday night. The final from Athens was a lopsided 89-47.

Georgia shot 53% from the field. Four Georgia players scored in the double digits, led by a 20 point effort from forward Brittney Smith. Smith also picked up five rebounds and shot 100% from the free throw line in about 20 minutes of play.

Guards De'Mauri Flournoy and Savannah Henderson came off the bench to drain three three-point shots each in a game that show Georgia making 47% of its shots from three-point territory.

UGA heads to Atlanta on Sunday for a game against in-state rival Georgia Tech. Tipoff in that game is at 2 pm.
