Voters around the state are turning out in large numbers once again this runoff election. The Georgia Secretary of State’s Office is holding a series of updates throughout the day regarding the process. Gabriel Sterling is the Chief Operating Officer. He discussed the numbers as of Tuesday afternoon.
Sterling said elections officials and state leaders are considering changes to the runoff process.
The average wait time for voters was about two and a half minutes, with the exception of nine of the 2700 total polling locations which had wait times of around half an hour at one time.
