Dawgs fans from around the state took to Sanford Stadium on Saturday to cheer on the University of Georgia’s second consecutive national championship win.

While excited about Georgia’s 65-7 landslide win against the Texas Christian University Horned Frogs, many fans like William MacDonald and his friends Bruce and Deandre called the game a letdown.

Longtime Dawgs fan Lance Johnson chalks UGA’s win to Coach Kirby Smart’s leadership.

Tripp, a Dawgs fan in the making, came with his father to see his favorite football team in person. Like Johnson, Tripp said the Dawgs have a chance to get a third back-to-back championship under Smart’s direction.

However, no matter if fans were disappointed by last week’s easy game or ecstatic about a second consecutive championship win, all fans had one thing to say.

Go Dawgs!
