The Clarke County Sheriff’s Office was donated 18 Trauma Response Kits by the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Associations, which contain a variety of potentially lifesaving equipment to be used in the event of a major injury in the field. The kits, which contain a chest seal, CPR face shield, a tourniquet and more, will be kept in all CCSO patrol vehicles for easy access in case of an emergency.
The United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the support of law enforcement, their families, and their communities through equipment donations, a national training program, memorial fund donations, and citizen awareness programs.
“We are grateful for the donation of these trauma response kits for our deputies in the field and on the roads in Clarke County. We pray the kits never have to be used but are thankful we have them if needed,” Sheriff John Q. Williams remarked.
