Tax revenue in Georgia grew last month.

Georgia’s net tax collection for January totaled nearly three billion for an increase of 32.9 million or 1.1% compared to January 2022.

According to Gov. Brian Kemp’s office, year to date net tax collections were more than 18 billion, an increase of almost one billion compared to fiscal year 2022.

Sales and Use Tax, Corporate Income Tax , and Motor Vehicle and Title fees were up. Meanwhile, individual income taxes are down.
