Georgia’s job numbers reached an all-time high in the month of January, increasing by nearly 3.4 percent over the year to a total of nearly 5 million. The unemployment rate remained unchanged from December, sitting below the national average at 3.1 percent. The number of employed residents and labor force increased by 5,331 and 5,620 respectively. The number of unemployed also increased by 289.
