The Georgia Senate budget proposal targets Georgia Public Broadcasting and the Georgia Cyber Innovation and Training Center in Augusta for cuts.
That's beyond a proposed $105 million cut to teaching and health insurance funds for Georgia's 26 public universities and colleges.
The spending plan also proposes a $5.1 million cut to the cyber center and a $3.7 million cut to GPB.
The budget passed the Senate Thursday on a 51 to one vote. The House is not seeking similar cuts.
