CCSD Schedules Public Listening Sessions to Begin Work on New Strategic Plan

The Clarke County School District will be holding a series of public listening sessions to being work on new strategic plan.
The school district is partnering with The Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement, or GLISI, to support the development of a new five-year strategic plan for the district and its schools. The effort begins with input from community members to understand their vision for the future of the district. Four public input sessions will be held during the month of April, all facilitated by GLISI representatives. The first meeting is Sunday, April 16 at Tuckston United Methodist Church located at 4175 Lexington Road Lexington Road. It will be followed by meetings at Clarke Central, Cedar Shoals, and the Athens Library.

● 6-7 p.m. Monday, April 17 - Clarke Central High School media center, 350 South Milledge Ave.,

● 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 - Cedar Shoals High School cafeteria, 1300 Cedar Shoals Dr., Athens

● 6-7 p.m. Wednesday, April 19 — Athens-Clarke County Library, 2025 Baxter St., Athens

Alexia Ridley joined WUGA as Television and Radio News Anchor and Reporter in 2013. When WUGA TV concluded operations, she became the primary Reporter for WUGA Radio. Alexia came to Athens from Macon where she served as the News Director and show host for WGXA TV. She's a career journalist and Savannah native hailing from the University of Michigan. However, Alexia considers herself an honorary UGA DAWG!
