The Clarke County School District will be holding a series of public listening sessions to being work on new strategic plan.
The school district is partnering with The Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement, or GLISI, to support the development of a new five-year strategic plan for the district and its schools. The effort begins with input from community members to understand their vision for the future of the district. Four public input sessions will be held during the month of April, all facilitated by GLISI representatives. The first meeting is Sunday, April 16 at Tuckston United Methodist Church located at 4175 Lexington Road Lexington Road. It will be followed by meetings at Clarke Central, Cedar Shoals, and the Athens Library.
