District Attorney Deborah Gonzalez is holding the second in a series of listening sessions at the Athens Regional Library. The event will address community and individual safety concerns facing Athens. Gonzalez says she encourages those attending to come with questions for her and the other speakers.

Members of the community are invited to attend and encouraged to participate. Gonzalez says public input is a vital component in building a safer community and creating change in the justice system.

The Community Listening Session is on March 8 from 6 to 8 pm at the library. This event is presented by Reflecting, Sharing, Learning.
