The University of Georgia will introduce Uga XI this Saturday during the pregame of the upcoming spring game this Saturday.

Boom, a ten-month-old English bulldog, will take over as the new mascot. The ceremonial collaring will begin eight minutes before the slated kickoff time at approximately 3:50 pm. The ceremony will take place at the 20-yard line in the northeast corner of Sanford Stadium.

The new mascot will succeed Uga X, known as Que, who was the winningest mascot in Georgia football history.

Que took over in the 2015 football season. During his time as the mascot, he had a 91-18 record, along with two national championships, two SEC titles, and victories in the Rose, Orange, Sugar, and Peach bowls.

Uga X was one of only two mascots to win a national championship and passed Uga VI as the winningest mascot previously from 1999-2008.
