The Athens-Clarke County Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting that occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on April 16.
ACCPD responded to a shooting at Coleridge Court, just off of Lexington Road, where officers located a 29-year-old female who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information regarding the shooting is asked to contact ACCPD.
