Senator Jon Ossoff Releases Report on Substandard Military Housing

Senator Jon Ossoff is continuing an investigation into the quality of military housing. Ossoff, who is the Chair of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, says the probe revealed several examples of mistreatment of military families through poor housing conditions of military housing.

The Senator toured Georgia's Fort Gordon on April 12, 2023. Housing at the base and other installations is privatized. Ossoff says Balfour Beatty, which manages the housing, and the Army must address deficiencies discovered during the investigation. Investigators say the company has made progress, that progress has been inconsistent.
