Game times for Georgia football’s matchups against South Carolina and Florida will kick off at 3:30 p.m. EST, according to a CBS and Southeastern Conference announcement.
The Bulldogs’ showdown with the Gamecocks will take place in week three of the season on September 16, 2023. Georgia’s matchup with the Florida Gators will happen on October 28, 2023.
Game times for Georgia’s week one and two opponents, Tennessee Martin, and Ball State, have not been announced yet.
Georgia’s 2023 matchups against South Carolina and the Florida Gators will likely be the last time the programs face each other as SEC East rivals, as the conference plans to eliminate the east and west divisions once Oklahoma and Texas join the SEC for the 2024 season.
This year marks the third meeting between Georgia football head coach Kirby Smart and South Carolina football head coach Shane Beamer. Kirby is 2-0 against Beamer including a rout in Columbia, South Carolina last season.
Any future Georgia football games on CBS will be announced a week before kickoff.
